Henry Hudson is about to die as the story begins. As the story switches between perspectives of Robert Juet (a person in second command, and who comes along with in all of his voyages), Henry Hudson’s Diary, and Abequa (a native girl) it takes you through the third journey of Henry Hudson as he searches for the Northwest Passage. The story will take you through the thrills of encountering and trading with natives as well as the tragic death of the captain of the ship, Henry Hudson.
